This text is a long love letter addressed by the author to the man who shared her former life, her husband who « died without having said anything about it », a man she left to live an existence of adventure and « shape forms. » This letter is also a bitter and remorseful confession for having harmed and « scorned the sweet simple joys», a moving statement of innocence forever lost.
